Steel Grit Supply for Structural Steel Coating Lines
We supply steel abrasives for industrial surface preparation. For a structural-steel coating line, choose a candidate grit against the required surface condition and your blast equipment. Send the coating preparation specification with the enquiry, so particle grading, hardness and trial acceptance can be discussed as one requirement.

The coating requirement leads the decision
Begin with the project documents. The cleanliness requirement, surface-profile requirement and inspection method should remain distinct. A single phrase such as coating ready leaves too much open. We can review the abrasive request with you while your project team retains responsibility for coating-system acceptance.
Angular particles need a defined grading
Our steel-grit range gives you a product family to review, rather than a universal size recommendation. Specify the grading designation and its governing size system. If two offers use different naming systems, compare the actual distribution and required inspection instead of assuming the labels describe identical material.

Hardness belongs in the technical offer
Include the hardness category or range required by your process, with the acceptance basis where available. Particle behaviour and the condition of the operating mix also need consideration. We should confirm the exact offered product and its technical documentation before you assess price or trial suitability.
A test panel makes the comparison useful
Use a representative substrate and controlled blast settings for the trial. Assess cleanliness and profile by the methods your project specifies. Keep the observations with the media reference. An attractive photograph of a blasted panel cannot establish that the coating preparation requirements have been met.

Abrasive quality and line condition stay separate
When a result changes, record the abrasive batch alongside equipment settings, separation performance and the starting steel condition. This helps distinguish a material issue from a process change. Share the observed deviation with us, including the relevant records, so the discussion starts from a defined comparison.
The approved sample needs an order reference
Agree how the sample is labelled and which specification accompanies it. After a successful trial, retain the technical offer and the approval record together. A repeat order should refer to that agreed material identity, including any limitation recorded during the trial.

Packing and storage protect product identity
Include pack weight, unloading arrangements and moisture-protection requirements in the enquiry. Keep grades separately identified during receiving and storage. We confirm the packing proposal for the individual quotation, including any requested markings, rather than treating a generic packing photograph as a binding order specification.
Replenishment follows the accepted baseline
Keep a record of the approved grit specification and the operating conditions used to qualify it. For later deliveries, compare like-for-like material and acceptance records. Changes in steel condition, coating requirements or process settings should be visible before the next replenishment is agreed.
Build a clear steel-grit purchase brief
Send the structural-steel application, grading reference, hardness requirement and planned quantity. Add the coating preparation specification, inspection scope, packing and destination. We can then discuss a specific material offer and the conditions for samples, delivery and repeat supply.
