HH-40 Steel Wire for Prestressed Concrete, 3.8–7 mm Spiral Ribbed Requirements

HH-40 steel wire has twelve actual diameters from 1 to 10 mm and a described tensile range of 1400–1960 MPa. Length is customer specified.

Confirm the exact required 3.8–7 mm diameter and spiral rib geometry; 3.8 and 7 mm are not fixed options, while 5, 5.5 and 6 mm are. Resolve the exact grade because Q designations and higher carbon numbered grades are both listed.

Specify electrogalvanized, bare or PVC coated surface independently of the grade. For prestressed concrete, define the material standard, relaxation and anchorage acceptance requirements. Tensile strength does not establish prestressing qualification, working load or a finished system approval. General conductor and pulling applications do not prove suitability for the requested reinforcement design.
