HRB400 Deformed Steel Rebar, 10 and 12 mm Requirements with 6 m Length
Hot rolled deformed steel rebar identifies HRB400 and a described 6 m length. Actual diameter selections are bands of 6–15, 16–25 and 26–40 mm.
Specify an exact 10 or 12 mm nominal diameter within the appropriate band. Confirm the selected HRB400 grade separately from HRB335, HRB400E and HRB500 alternatives. A Grade 60 requirement needs its own standard and acceptance documentation rather than an assumed equivalence to HRB400.
The supplied form is described as a black straight bar. Define rib geometry, length tolerance and any fabrication details required for reinforcement. General concrete or tie rod applications do not prove a threaded assembly configuration, mechanical test results, seismic qualification or a certified weldability requirement for the chosen bar.
