Monel 400 K500 Nickel Alloy Sheet Plate | Flat Product and Material Inspection Selection
Nickel-alloy sheet and plate is identified by the original Monel 400 and K500 title. Low-alloy steel wording in that title requires a material selection rather than assumed equivalence with nickel alloys.
Choose one grade, thickness, width, length and supply condition for the flat product. Pipe identity, tube standards and other alloy families retained below are excluded from this sheet specification. Request chemistry and mechanical inspection for the actual selected alloy. A grade name does not establish identical properties across Monel 400 and K500 or prove conformity with a particular standard. No pressure-service rating, corrosion-life result or operating-temperature approval is asserted.
