Flat steel sheet is described with thickness 2–3.5 mm. Actual width choices are 900–1000, 1001–1250 and 1251–1500 mm, combined with customer required length.
Choose the exact grade from Q345B, Q345C, Q345D, Q345E, Q390, Q390B and Q390C alternatives. The grade name and non-alloy label do not establish a numerical mechanical result or interchangeability. Define the delivered condition and required dimensional tolerances.
For boiler or high pressure vessel use, specify the applicable material standard, design conditions and inspection documentation. General ship, boiler and container plate applications do not prove service approval or an allowable pressure. Skin passing, processing services and broad certificate names are not evidence of a qualified weld or verified material report.
