Green Silicon Carbide Blasting Grit and Powder | F16–240# Selection for Workpiece Polishing
Green silicon carbide particles are recorded with minimum 99.5% SiC, maximum 0.2% free carbon and maximum 0.2% Fe₂O₃. The actual specification is F16–240# paired with numbered grit choices from 20 to 170.
The body also gives 0.12% magnetic fraction and 3.2g/cm³ specific gravity. Specify the selected grit and grading method rather than treating the broad F-range as a single powder distribution. A particle-size test should define the supplied material.
For blasting or polishing workpieces, provide substrate, equipment and finish acceptance. No measured removal, surface roughness or abrasive-life result is supplied.
