SS-B598 300 Series Stainless Steel Round Bar, 2–6 mm Custom Requirements
Cold rolled stainless steel round bar has nine actual diameters: 10, 20, 30, 50, 80, 100, 150, 200 and 500 mm. SS-B598 and a 300 series grade family are described.
A requested 2–6 mm size needs separate confirmation because it is not a fixed choice; the descriptive range is 3–500 mm or custom. Select an exact stainless grade and define the required mirror finish rather than treating customized surface wording as a verified polishing specification.
Provide cut length, dimensional tolerance and surface acceptance criteria for the intended machinery component. A broad grade list and valve steel application do not establish corrosion compatibility, mechanical properties or valve service approval. Welding service availability does not qualify the bar as welding filler or prove a finished joint result.
