State the shot designation
If the job specifies S330 or S110, request the corresponding sieve distribution and selected material grade. Those title designations should not be assumed equivalent to one of the grit numbers without a particle specification.
Agree coating-preparation criteria
Describe the steel substrate, existing surface condition and required preparation result. Confirm batch chemistry, hardness method and media inspection before a representative blasting trial. High durability and customization language does not establish a numerical reuse life, breakdown rate, coating adhesion result or guaranteed cleaning productivity for the selected shot.
