7 Wire PC Steel Strand for Post Tension Requirements, 2–16 mm Options
Steel strand described for PC use has seven actual diameters: 2, 3, 6, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm. High carbon steel and ASTM A475 references are listed.
Confirm the required seven wire construction and applicable post tension material specification independently of the diameter option. Define the manufacturing condition and selected coating because copper coated and nylon surface references are not interchangeable finishes.
No tensile strength, relaxation class, anchorage result or working load is supplied. High strength and hot rolled wording do not establish qualified prestressing strand performance. Provide the required material, anchorage and inspection acceptance evidence for the intended concrete system. General construction applications and an A475 reference do not prove post tension approval or a completed cable assembly capacity.
