Garnet is the actual material, paired with 80 grit and 80 specification labels. The product is described for blasting, with a hardness entry of 9 Mohs and no selected particle-size test.
Agree the grading standard, particle distribution and required red-garnet appearance through a sample and material record. The number 80 alone does not establish a mesh conversion. Title density and low-consumption expectations need selected test criteria.
For waterjet cutting, provide nozzle, workpiece and finish requirements. No removal-rate, nozzle-wear or process-compatibility result is supplied.
