Zinc balls have actual Zinc material and a combined 25, 30, 40, 50 and 100mm specification. The body gives minimum 99.995% purity, round shape and 40–50HV hardness.
Select the required diameter and anode configuration through a drawing and material record. Sacrificial protection in the title needs an intended service and electrochemical acceptance specification; the diameter list alone does not establish one protected installation.
For corrosion-protection evaluation, provide environment, mounting and inspection requirements. No selected anode-potential, capacity or service-life test is supplied. Obtain chemistry and applicable anode evidence before assigning protection performance; general electroplating and standard wording does not establish marine approval or a guaranteed corrosion result for a selected structure.
