Set the material specification
This drawn steel wire offers eight diameter labels: 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0. The labels do not state a unit, so agree the measurement unit and required tolerance before choosing a size. For a 304 or 316 stainless steel inquiry, specify the exact alloy and request confirmation of the intended material supply.
Coating and mechanical condition
Identify whether the finished wire requires an uncoated surface, electro galvanizing or a specified polymer coating, including any required coating thickness.
