Cold rolled stainless steel strip is described with 2B finish and width 2–50 mm. The actual thickness label reads 0.02----3.0mm and requires confirmation of the intended range notation.
Choose the exact grade from 304N, 316 and 316L references; a 304/316L model reference does not establish grade equivalence. Specify measured thickness, strip width and dimensional tolerances, together with coil or customized length delivery.
For bending or band fabrication, define the incoming condition and required edge quality before process approval. No numerical hardness, tensile property or spring temper is supplied. A 2B surface and cold rolling description do not establish corrosion life or guarantee suitability for a particular forming radius, welded joint or finished component.
