Hot Rolled Carbon Steel U Channel for Solar Mounting Bracket Requirements
Steel U channel is described as hot rolled with thickness 2–16 mm and lengths of 6, 9 or 12 m or as required. The supplied channel is described without perforations; finish choices include black and galvanized.
For photovoltaic support requirements, provide the channel drawing, hole layout and required base grade. Select ASTM A36, Q235B or Q345B explicitly rather than relying on a generic carbon or stainless wording. Define U geometry separately from the C and Z alternatives.
Specify the galvanizing acceptance and connection details for the mounting design. No coating quantity, wind or snow capacity, electrical bonding result or solar system approval is established by general building and pipe support applications. Fabrication services do not prove a qualified bracket assembly or a verified structural load rating.
