Select stainless wire alloy and temper together for the intended production process.

Stainless alloy and condition

This stainless steel wire listing offers twelve diameters and names many alloys, surfaces and delivery conditions. The title’s austenitic wording cannot describe every referenced alloy. Select one grade and condition instead of assuming the entire grade list represents interchangeable spring or annealed wire.

Define alloy and temper together

The menu supplies geometry choices. The selected alloy and temper still need to be connected to that diameter in the quotation.

  • Diameter choices extend from 0.2 to 5 mm.
  • Intermediate choices include 1.2, 1.5, 1.8 and 2.5 mm.
  • Specify soft, hard or another agreed condition.
  • Clarify bright annealed versus cold drawn requirements.
  • Identify the applicable ASTM A313 acceptance scope.

Confirm process suitability

Drawing, weaving, hose and rope references describe possible procurement contexts. They do not establish fatigue performance or a finished rope rating. Request grade specific composition and mechanical records rather than applying the shared chemical limits to every listed alloy.
