304 201 316 Stainless Steel Square Tube, 40x40 and 60x60 Requirements
Stainless steel square tube has an actual thickness range selection of 1–150 mm. Seamless manufacture is described, with 304, 201 and 316 model references.
For a 40x40 or 60x60 section, define both external sides, units and an exact wall thickness. The broad thickness option does not establish that every wall can fit these section sizes. Confirm square versus round or rectangular delivery and select the exact grade.
Choose the required finish and measured tolerances; 2B and customer defined surfaces are referenced. General petroleum, chemical and mechanical applications do not establish pressure class, corrosion compatibility or structural capacity for a building member. Obtain the selected material and dimensional evidence before treating a broad grade list as proof of equivalent stainless properties.
