Choose material and size together
Each of the three material selections is paired with the available grit choices. Specify 304, 430 or 410 together with 0.3-0.4, 0.5-0.6, 0.8, 1.0 or 1.2 when discussing the required blasting media.
Conditioning changes the selection question
The product covers stainless steel shot, stainless cut wire shot and conditioned stainless cut wire shot. Establish whether the supplied particles are as-cut or conditioned, because a size choice alone does not define the particle geometry required by your process.

Request a grade-specific media specification
The stated hardness range of 32-50HRC needs to be matched to the selected grade and particle condition. Provide the workpiece, equipment requirements and target finish when requesting a sample or technical confirmation for this 0.3-1.2mm stainless shot. A request for 410 at 1.0mm should therefore identify particle condition as well as size, while a 304 or 430 inquiry should receive its own corresponding confirmation.
