This drawn carbon steel wire is described as soft annealed black wire for netting, mesh and binding use. SAE1006 is the stated grade, with other material alternatives also named. Six diameter choices are available: 1, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2 and 2.5mm. The listed tensile range is 350–550 MPa, and annealing is the named heat treatment.
Confirm SAE1006 material and the selected wire condition against the intended mesh or tying process. Requests for 0.7, 0.8 or 1.6mm need separate size agreement because these are not selectable entries. Specify tolerance, cut length or coil handling as needed. For welded nets, provide the process and acceptance requirements; a wire mesh application label does not establish weld procedure qualification, finished panel strength or suitability for every mesh geometry.
