Roll Formed Carbon Steel U Channel Requirements for Warehouse Shelving
Carbon steel U channel is described with thickness 2–16 mm and lengths of 6, 9 or 12 m or as requested. The accompanying manufacturing technique is hot rolled.
Confirm roll formed versus hot rolled supply and provide the required section drawing for shelving uprights. Choose the exact ASTM A36, Q235B or Q345B material and define U geometry separately from C or Z alternatives. Lowes style wording does not establish brand affiliation or a compatible shelving system.
Non-perforated supply is described, so any upright hole pattern needs separate definition. Select black or galvanized finish and coating acceptance.
