Carbon steel wire has ten actual diameter labels from1 to10mm, including2,3 and8mm. The6mm title request is not an actual selectable variant.
Choose the carbon grade
SAE1070,70#,72A and82B references sit within a low/medium/high-carbon family. Confirm the requested72B/77B/82A designations rather than treating all title labels as equivalent compositions.
- Drawn-wire identity.
- 0.10–12mm reference diameter.
- Cold-drawn/hot-rolled process family.
- Annealed/patented/oil-tempered alternatives.
- Uncoated/galvanized/phosphate surfaces.
Specify spring condition
Choose the required manufacturing route and actual mechanical tests. Spring wording alone supplies no tensile strength, hardness or fatigue result.
Agree dimensional evidence
Provide selected diameter, coil condition and forming requirements. Construction, netting and nail contexts do not establish approved finished springs or universal suitability for every carbon grade.
