Steel blasting grit has actual Steel material with a G18 specification and a unitless 7–120 grit entry. The body describes 40–65HRC hardness and round shape.
Confirm the required GH18 classification, high-carbon composition and casting route through selected records. The G18 option alone does not establish a GH hardness grade or particle geometry. Agree the supplied distribution and shape against the intended grit requirement.
For blasting, define substrate, equipment and finish acceptance. No selected chemistry, removal-rate or abrasive-life test is supplied. Obtain material and hardness inspection evidence before trial rather than treating title high-carbon or high-hardness wording as verified for every particle size; no conversion from the numbered range to a diameter is asserted.
