Hot Rolled Carbon Steel Plate, 3 mm Shipbuilding Material Requirements
Carbon steel flat plate is described with width 600–1500 mm and customized length. Actual thickness bands are 0.2–4, 4–60 and 60–115 mm.
Confirm an exact 3 mm thickness within the selected band, the required steel grade and galvanized surface acceptance. The broad material references contain several structural and coated steel designations, while a hot rolled beam wording needs separation from the required finished plate.
For a shipbuilding blank, provide the applicable material specification and inspection documentation. A general ship plate application does not establish classification society approval, mechanical test results or qualified welding. High strength wording provides no numerical property, and processing service availability does not prove fitness for a particular structural or marine component.
